 Our mission is to support persons with disabilities in their daily living, learning, and working activities at home and in their communities to achieve maximum integration and self-sufficiency. Disabilities eligible for services are intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, spina bifida, and Prader-Willi syndrome.

 We are committed to our mission and to ensuring the safety and well-being of the people we serve under the policies stated in the Developmental Disabilities Waiver Services Coverage and Limitations Handbook.

 Helpful Home Services believes in focusing on the recipient’s perspective when providing services. Having a Person-Centered approach ensures that the recipient will utilize services to build on their strengths and achieve their personal goals. To achieve this, Helpful Home Services will undergo an initial interview with recipients to find out the recipient’s desired personal outcomes by assessing what the recipient considers most important in his or her life.
Communication methods will be adjusted as necessary to address varying communication styles. Services provided by Helpful Home Services are to be utilized to support and assist recipients to achieve their desired outcomes to enjoy a more independent and joyful life. Goals from the Support Plan will be revised with the recipient at least yearly to ensure they remain current.
